Understand that each mouthpiece is play tested and the facing and chamber tweaked and fussed with, until the mouthpiece has flawless intonation and response. Very few - if any - mouthpieces on the market today are individually played
for 2 or 3 hours (or more) on different days, and with different reeds to assure the musicality of the sound.
